MOVING DAY

Well, the holidays are over, the grandkids are back in school, and Mr. W is ready to move to new scenery.  So, tomorrow, Wednesday, is moving day. 

I had planned originally to go where ALOT of people go during the winter, "the Valley."  Now for you that are not Texans, "the Valley" is South Texas and there are many, many "Winter Texans" living there this time of year.  I had planned to go to Rio Hondo and stay the month of January there.  However, Mr. W's mother, affectionately called Mema, who will be 91 on Friday, had a stroke right before Christmas and is not doing well.  So, it was decided that we should stay a little closer to H-town to see how Mema recovers before we go off too far.

Now, I'll be staying at Jamaica Beach RV Resort in Galveston, TX.  I'm looking forward to a new location and you will get a review of this resort once I get settled. :) I'm hoping for a little warmer weather in Galveston.  It has been cold in H-town this year.  One of the weather forecasters on one of the local television stations stated that H-town had not had this cold of weather in about 10 years. Brrr!
